THE SIDEMEN

• From Nashville, Tennessee.
• Formed in 1989 by a group of side musicians, most of whom worked regularly with other bands. They performed regularly on Tuesday nights at Nashville’s Station Inn.
• Members included Terry Eldredge, Steve Thomas, Mike Bub, Mike Compton, Jimmy Campbell, Ronnie McCoury, Gene Wooten, Ed Dye, Kristin Scott Benson and Larry Perkins.
• Disbanded in 2007.
• Dierks Bentley often performed with this group.
