THE DAVID MAYFIELD PARADE
- From Kent/Akron, Ohio.
- Grew up playing bass in his family bluegrass band. He also plays guitar and mandolin.
- He is a grammy and emmy-nominated producer, comedian, songwriter and band leader.
- His sister is folksinger/indie-rock artist Jessica Lea Mayfield. For several years, David was a member of her band, including an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.
- 2008, joined Cadillac Sky, playing guitar. He has also worked with the Avett Brothers and Mumford and Sons.
- 2011, formed his own band The David Mayfield Parade.
- 2011, released self-titled album (9th Grade).
- 2015, released Good Man Down album (Beautywood).
- 2022, new band lineup: Mayfield (guitar), Steven Moore (banjo), Evan Wallen (Dobro™), Keith Wallen (mandolin) and Graham Bell (bass).
- 2024, released Time’s Winding Up EP (Mountain Fever).
